About Me
I am Keren Lerner-Geron, a certified Expressive Arts therapist and a graduate of group facilitation and leadership development studies.
Since beginning my professional journey as a group facilitator and director in community theater, and later as a therapist, I have worked with diverse populations of all ages.
My clinical experience in Israel includes providing individual therapy in the Adult Outpatient Clinic at Sheba Mental Health Center “Shalvata”, facilitating group therapy in the Child and Adolescent Inpatient Unit, and developing rehabilitation plans within the Israeli Ministry of Health’s Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program, where I also managed and supervised professional teams.
In my private practice, I offered therapy for adults, adolescents, and children, guided parents, and led group sessions.
I have always felt a deep connection to the world of theater.
In my view, drama holds a profound power. Over time, I came to understand that paradoxically, when we put on a mask, we can feel a sense of freedom that allows us to express the deepest honesty within ourselves.
I believe that every encounter between people holds the potential for mutual enrichment.
